MEMBERSHIP FEE

Annual membership renewal is due on 1st. April each year. Members have two options:

  • Ordinary membership with pay as you go training fees.

  • Subscription membership where all training fees in club hours are included in the price.

Payment accepted by either one-off payment or monthly installments.

The club annual fee includes the England Athletics (EA) annual registration for athletes which is currently set at £23 and is required for any athlete to compete in Unitied Kingdom Athleteics (UKA) events. The club will collect this fee and pass it on to England Athletics.


Vests FOR NEW Members

Competition vests are on sale in the Clubhouse at Palmer Park Stadium. Please go on Tuesday evenings or by arrangement with the Membership Secretary.


Hardship fund

The Club has a limited fund available to support people in need with the payment of the Annual Membership Fee. To enquire further, please contact the Membership Secretary via the link at the bottom of this page.


Track Fees

For non-subscription athletes, a training fee of £3.50 is payable for every session attended by each athlete.

Athletes awarded a Reading AC Bursary are entitled to free training.

The Membership Secretary writes to all athletes who are entitled to waived training fees prior to April each year.


Payment

Membership renewals are paid via the Spond app.

If you have difficulties paying by this method or need further information regarding membership fees, please see Sarah Ball, the Membership Secretary, in the Reading Athletic Clubhouse near to the 100m start line.  Sarah is generally there during the Tuesday evening training session.  Sarah can also provide details of family membership for families with two or more members.
