Latest News.....
The young male and female athletes of Reading Ac opened their league campaign of the National Young Athletes league this past Sunday as they were in action at Bracknell in what proved to be a keenly contested fixture.
The girls and boys team were in good form and ran eventual winner's Windsor, close through-out the day as they eventually finished 2nd in the 6 team match.

Elsewhere a number of senior athletes were representing their Uni, as they contested the British Universities Championships from Friday to Monday at the Olympic Stadium. The highlight coming from Brian Flatley as the Reading Uni student soared to 2.07m in the high jump to claim the silver medal.
Whilst also on Monday the Veteran athletes of the club kick started their league campaign at Oxford, whilst 3 of Reading's leading male endurance athletes competed at a BMC meeting at Millfield, with good effect in far from ideal conditions.
