UK Womens Athletics League Reading Athletic Club began their UK Womens League journey in 2006, as through their Southern League position,
they qualified for the Promotion match at Abingdon in September of 2006. The team produced an exceptional performance to win
the fixture and secure their position in Division 4 of the UK Womens League for the first time in the club's history.
In 2007 they began their quest in the league, with their first ever fixture at the Gateshead International Stadium. The club
secured 2nd in the opening fixture, a position repeated at their next fixture at Coventry, however at their last fixture they
took a convincing victory to secure promotion and more importantly the Division 4 title in their first ever season in the
league. Since then, the club enjoyed a brief spell in Division 3 before returning to Division 4 where they have enjoyed a
strong spell and hope once again to progress back into Division 3in the near future. The
