British Athletics League
Reading Athletic Club are now back in the National League in 2010 having completed a fine southern league season, that saw them earn a spot in the playoff match. There the team produced an exceptional performance to win the match quite comfortably to regain their place back in the British Athletics League. It was ironic it would be 40 years exactly since they last qualified for the BAL. Where in 1970 they qualified from a match held at Leicester. From then they rose to the heights of the top division in 1973, in which a highlight saw the team travel to Edinburgh, which was screened live on the BBC. They subsequently dropped down divisions in the following years and now in 2010 they have regained their place back in the big league in National Division 4.

The League has a website which is: www.bal.org.uk

Your Team Managers for this League are Phil Wren and Simon Reed
